"Thanks for joining me on this vide where we ask ‘Do AlloyGators really protect alloy wheel rims?’
Now l can TELL you all l want, but the best way to answer this question is to SHOW you, so let’s take a look at our 2 loan cars, which are both fitted with AlloyGators"
Will Alloy Gator Protect My Alloy Wheel Rims?
Firstly, let’s look at our little Fabia with the black wheels, and contrasting silver AlloyGators fitted.
As you can see, around the rim of the Gators, there’s some minor scuffing, but it doesn’t stand out too much as the plastic is the same colour all the way through.
When we look closer, you can see the damage to the AlloyGator a little better, but you can also see that there has been no damage caused to the alloy wheel paint finish.
And you can see that all of the 4 wheels with AlloyGators fitted have had some type of damaged caused to them, which would have meant repairs to all 4 wheels, to protect the metal from corrosion, and being out of use while they were being repaired.
Now we’ll look at the rapid, where the damage is even more severe.
You can see that they’ve taken several quite bad knocks, but again, there’s no damage to the painted finish of the alloy wheel, anything you can see is coming from under the paint due to the age of the wheel, or lack of care by the owner previous to us.
So, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, as they say, and you can hopefully see that AlloyGators do offer excellent wheel rim protection.
At the moment this is our final video in our mini docu series, so thanks you for watching, and if you have any questions or would like us to make more video like this, just let us know.
